Brown top-fermented beer, brewed with roasted malt. The secondary fermentation in the bottle gives the beer a powerful and pleasant character. Waterloo Double Dark has a very complex, powerful nose with keys of wood and humus.
The first aromas are powerful (alcohol) and spicy (wood), with good balance and a slightly caramelised finale.
